Event Description: Who We Play For is hosting a heart screening event for students ages 12 to 25 on Tuesday, April 28th from 4 to 8 PM at the Korger Chestnut Building.
Did you know that 1 in 300 youth has a detectable heart condition, and nearly 80% show no symptoms before a sudden cardiac arrest event? In fact, sudden cardiac arrest is a leading cause of death among student athletes.
This quick, painless ECG screening takes just minutes and is reviewed by a pediatric cardiologist—helping detect hidden conditions early and potentially save lives.
The cost is just $20 per student.
