Summer has arrived, but the need in our communities does not take a break. Join us for Thrivent Cans Hunger Food/Paper Drive for the Altoona Compassion Coalition. The drive will be held on Wednesday, August 17th from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Hobbs Ice Center Parking Lot at 2300 Spooner Ave, Altoona. Donations of toilet paper, canned fruit, mac & cheese, Raman Noodles, and cereal are needed. For each item donated Thrivent will make a $3 donation to the Altoona Compassion Coalition -up to 1000 items. The first 75 cars that donate to the fundraiser will receive a FREE brat/hotdog dinner for 4 to go. Thank you to the Altoona Lions Club for their partnership on this event.
