The 22nd Warmth From Wisconsin Quilt Contest awarded three quilters the top honors! ˇ 1st Place: Valerie Dehnke of Fall Creek ˇ 2nd Place: Alice Weickelt of Fall Creek ˇ 3rd Place: Ginny Severson of Eau Claire
Thank you everyone who entered the Warmth from Wisconsin Quilt Contest. The quilts will be distributed by missionaries Roger and Debi Audorff to the poor in the Mexican Yucatan Peninsula.

THE IDEA FOR THIS WEEK WAS INSPIRED BY SUSAN, AN EMPLOYEE OF Community Bank of Central Wisconsin, after hearing the song "Give it Away" by Michael W Smith.
SUSAN'S IDEA FOR THE $250 WAS TO HELP The 'NEW' Owen-Withee food pantry become a bigger & better asset to those "neighbors in need". THE FEED MY PEOPLE FOOD BANK WAS CONTACTED ABOUT DELIVERING ALMOST EIGHTEEN-HUNDRED POUNDS OF FOOD.

THE 'GIVE IT AWAY' IDEA FOR THIS WEEK WAS INSPIRED BY A YOUNG LISTENER NAMED KAITLYN. FROM HER IDEA IT WAS DECIDED TO HELP 4 LADIES AT THE RUTH HOUSE, AN ARM OF HOPE GOSPEL MISSION.

19 of the 22 finalists showed up at Younkers in Eau Claire on Saturday to be interviewed on the air and find out who the recipient of the $750 shopping spree would be. Congratulations to Elaine Phelps the 2010 Woman of the Year

Quilters began with a "starter square" and created their own unique quilt design for judging and then delivery by missionaries to Monterrey, Mexico. Great work to all who entered! Here are a few pictures of the quilts and judging at Sew Complete.
